No, you do not. Like any new tool in the shop after using the equipment once or twice you will find it much easier than what you have been doing. No pinch hazards, no lifting, no second set of hands to help you out.

Unlike other products that claim to eliminate the need for bending and in fact do not. Our equipment does the heavy lifting and lowering for the technician and can also be used, to take scrap components to your recycling bins.

Minimum working height is 14 inches or 350mm.

Maximum working height is 50” or 1250mm for the caliper trolley.

Unitized hubs offer unique challenges, and we are pleased to report that the axles that we have worked on with unitized hubs was smooth and without challenges.  Please see the accessories for a Unitized hub Adapter.

A two -year limited warranty. Abuse and/or improper use of equipment is not covered.

We have training videos, we offer Zoom/Teams/Google online training phone support. We can also arrange in-shop training if required (an additional fee may be incurred).

The equipment set up is simple. Unpack the unit, remove protective wrapping, assemble the handles and you are ready to go.

As of November 2023, we have not had a situation where the HR Splitter Mate™ has been unable to separate a hub and rotor. The pictures on our site are in shop examples of some of the seized hubs and rotors we have worked on.

Not only does it clean the threads of the bolts, it also cleans the flat spot on the wheel flange. This allows for maximum clamping force and assists in accurate torque values.

Please review your owner’s manual. Equipment must be registered within 30 days of receipt.
